ORMANDY MOBILE CONNECT PRIVACY POLICY

The Mobile Connect app is designed to provide limited remote access and data entry to your employer’s FrontLine database.  As such, all data entered will be stored in your employer’s FrontLine database, and can be accessed, used and shared by your employer in conformity with your employer’s privacy policy.  All app interactions with your employer’s BaseLink server will be logged in your employer’s FrontLine database.  Logs stored in your employer’s database may include both personal information, such as your user ID, and device or other IDs, such as your IP address.

In addition to the logs stored on your employer’s server, Mobile Connect stores crash logs, diagnostics and other app performance data in a local database on your device.  This data may be uploaded to your employer’s database or included in a crash report to Ormandy for troubleshooting or bug testing purposes.

Personal information, including but not limited to your name, email address, user ID, address, and phone number, is used to personalize your app, manage your account, and identify you for the purpose of app functionality; to provide analytics for your employer; and to assist in fraud prevention and security.

If you choose to use the background sync or notifications, your app’s FireBase Cloud Messaging ID will be stored in your employer’s database for the purpose of sending messages to your app.

If you choose to upload files or photos, for example if you choose to add a repair image to one of your repair units, then Mobile Connect will access your files and photos to attach the selected file or photo, which will then be stored in your employer’s FrontLine database.  Text information that you enter using Mobile Connect will also be stored in the database.  The contents of your employer’s FrontLine database can be accessed, used and shared by your employer in conformity with your employer’s privacy policy.
